Who we use to provide Read the Question
We use trusted service providers to operate Read the Question. They process personal data only as needed to provide their services to us.
Current providers include:
- Vercel for hosting and deployment;
- Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure;
- Resend for sending and receiving contact emails;
- PostHog EU for analytics and error information;
- server logging tools for operational and security logs.
International transfers
Some providers may process data in the UK, the EEA or other countries where they operate.
PostHog EU processes analytics data within the European Economic Area. The transfer of personal data from the UK to the EEA is permitted under the UK Government's adequacy regulations for EEA countries.
For other international transfers, we rely on the safeguards provided by our service providers, such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy decisions, and applicable data protection law.
How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed.
- Contact messages are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless we need to keep them longer for a legal or operational reason.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period needed for security, debugging and site operation.
- Analytics data is kept according to our PostHog project settings and no longer than needed for analytics and improvement.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to:
- ask for a copy of your personal data;
- ask us to correct inaccurate personal data;
- ask us to delete personal data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
